…Silent As You Go!”

SCRIPTURE:  Matthew 26:57-63

KEY VERSE:  v. 63  “But Jesus kept silent.”

FOCUS:  The heart is the control center of our words.

INTRODUCTION: “It was not Christ’s way to be silent when there was a company gathered together to whom He could proclaim His glad tidings; and in these special circumstances one might have thought that He could put a sudden passion into His pleading, which, even at the eleventh hour, would have made His county-men hearken.  But at this supreme moment, when there seemed most need for His most arresting speech, He scarce would speak at all.”                                                          ~ James Hastings
