TODAY’S “GOOD NEWS” – February 8, 2004 

MESSAGE:  “GOD’S FANTASTIC DREAM FOR THE CHURCH:

 …Faithful To Its Opportunity!”

SCRIPTURE:  Revelation 3:7-13

KEY VERSE:  v. 8  “Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut.”

FOCUS:  The call of the “open door” is a call to high endeavor.

INTRODUCTION:  “There is a door of missionary opportunity before every person, and he need not go overseas to find it.  Within the home, within the circle in which we move, within the community in which we reside, there are those to be won for Christ.  To use that door of opportunity is at once our privilege and our responsibility.”                               ~ Wm Barclay

**Think about the way the Church is to live out its life in Yakima:

I.     THE DOOR OF MINISTRY IS THROWN OPEN TO THE FAITHFUL

       

 

 

II.    THE FAITHFUL WILL STAND STRONG AGAINST SATAN

 

 

 

III.  THE COMING OF CHRIST WILL HONOR THE FAITHFUL
