Tenebrae: A Service of Shadows
On Good Friday, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. We remember His death. We remember the price that was paid for us. The word “Tenebrae” is Latin for shadows or darkness. As we look forward to celebrating Easter — the resurrection of Jesus from the dead — we must first go through the darkness of that Friday. This service will be a somber and reflective time as the last hours of Jesus' life are retold. At the conclusion of this service, you will have the opportunity to exit in darkness and silent reflection of Jesus’ love for you.
Childcare will be provided.
