WORST EARTHQUAKE IN 60 YEARS HITS NEPAL
Saturday, April 25, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal. The epicenter was between the capital, Kathmandu, and the city of Pokhara. More than 3,300 people have already been reported dead in Kathmandu alone, and many more are trapped and feared dead. The government has declared a state of emergency.
The Church of the Nazarene has several hundred churches with more than 8,000 members in Nepal. In Kathmandu and close by, more than 10 churches and church plants have been affected.
