February is Faith Promise Month

This year’s Faith Promise theme is “Continuing the Vision.” Each Sunday in February we’ll have a special speaker highlighting the international mission experience. On Sunday, February 28, you’re invited to participate in a special Faith Promise Luncheon after the worship service. Consider prayerfully what commitment the Lord would have you make for Faith Promise this year. For more information, see the missions wall.

About Greg & Terri Taylor

The Taylors served as Nazarene Missionaries for 13 years in the Philippines and Guatemala.  During this time, Greg and Terri primarily worked as Work & Witness and Partnership Development Coordinators for the Asia-Pacific Region.

In 2011, Greg was asked to serve at the Nazarene Global Ministry Center in Kansas City, Missouri as the Mobilization Coordinator.  In this capacity, Greg served our Global Church as the International Coordinator for Work & Witness and oversaw volunteer missionary development, training, and deployment of all new Global Missionaries.  Simultaneously, Terri served in the Global Nazarene Youth International (NYI) Department while also working alongside Greg to train and develop missionaries.

Last year, God called Greg and Terri to a new ministry - the care of their aging parents. The Taylors relocated to Oregon and Greg is now working as a Project Manager for a construction firm in the Portland area. Terri is continuing to serve the Global Nazarene Mission team in developing and training missionary candidates.

Greg and Terri have been married for 28 years and they have three adult children. Their daughter, Jordan, and son-in-law, Mark, are graduates of Trevecca Nazarene University and live and work in Nashville.  Their son, Zach, lives in Corvallis, Oregon, and is working as an estimator for the same construction firm as his father.

Originally from Oregon, Greg and Terri are enjoying making Salem once again their home.
