Homework Club at West Valley Church
West Valley Church volunteers provide homework tutoring to 3rd and 4th graders from Wide Hollow Elementary. For the past three years, Homework Club has become a great partnership between West Valley Church and Wide Hollow families. When our students succeed, our community and city succeed. Homework Club helps both students and parents -- students grow both academically and socially, while parents gain two extra hours a week to rest, run errands and prepare dinner.
Homework Club meets on Wednesdays between 3:30p and 5:30p. It's a time for hanging out, math, reading, and arts & crafts. We hope this structure will provide the best opportunity for your student to have fun and learn.
To enroll your student in Homework Club, print and complete the parental release and waiver form at the bottom of this page. You'll need to bring the signed form to the West Valley Church office before your child is able to attend. If you have any questions about Homework Club, please feel free to contact us.
By the way, on certain Wednesday nights, from 5:30--6:30 PM, we provide a meal at the church. Feel free to bring your family and stay for dinner after picking up your child. The cost for dinner is $5 a person ($20 a family), but your Homework Club student will eat for free!
