Upward Soccer is a recreational soccer league for ages 4 through 5th grade - strengthening young athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually and socially.
EVALUATIONS
Everyone must attend a soccer evaluation.
Evaluations have been rescheduled to take place at the West Valley Church Gym as follows:
- All ages: Saturday, February 16, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Evaluations take approximately 30 minutes. Wear sneakers to evaluations. Evaluations consist of uniform sizing, registration completion, soccer drills, parent Q&A, and hearing about opportunities to volunteer.
Note: If you can't make it to evaluations, please come into the church office Monday to Thursday, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., to pick out a jersey size.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Early registration began on November 25, 2018. (Register early, space is limited and fills up quickly).

- The early registration cost per child is $75 (Save $5 for each additional child registered)
- After January 31, the cost is $85.
- Deadline for late registration is February 16.
- A uniform (jersey and socks) is included with the registration fee.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Practices begin the week of Monday, March 11, 2019. First Game - Saturday, March 30, 2019. Awards Celebration - Sunday, May 19, 2019.
Practices are for one hour and one night per week, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. or 6:00-7:00 p.m, on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Games are played on Saturdays, some will be during Spring Break. The season ends one week before Memorial Day weekend.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed as coaches, referees, concession servers, prayer partners, #1 Fans, practice hosts, and for setup and take down. Contact the church office at (509) 966-1550 Ext. 107, or casey@wvcnaz.com, if you would like to help!
