WVC CORE CLASSES - Most Christians know far more than they're putting into practice.  We offer application-focused classes centered on the purposes of church.  We want to equip you with the tools to actually live out the biblical purposes in your life - to live with purpose.

Each of our four core classes at WVC (101, 102, 103 and 104) focuses on key elements of living with purpose: membership, maturity, ministry and missions.  Through this catalog of 3-week classes, we help our congregation live with purpose in their everyday lives.  These classes are the building blocks of West Valley Church.  They are designed to produce mature believers who walk the walk, talk the talk, live the life and sacrificially give.

Discovering Membership 101  - Class 101 is a basic introduction to our church family and is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is.  During the class, Pastor Mike covers what we believe, our structure, our mission and our strategy.  At the end of Class 101 you will have the opportunity to fill out and sign a Membership Covenant or wait until another time. (3 weeks)

Discovering Maturity 102 - Class 102 will help you develop the habits you need to jump-start your spiritual growth.  Pastor Mike will give you an overview of the four basic spiritual habits every Christian needs in order to grow:  Time in God's Word, Prayer, Giving and Fellowship.  (3 weeks) 

Discovering Ministry 103 - Class 103 will help you discover how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, your Heart (passions), your Abilities, your Personality and your Experiences (S.H.A.P.E.) to minister to the needs of others.  At WVC, we believe that every member of our church is a minister.  Pastor Keith will guide you in an assessment of your SHAPE to see where in ministry you will love to serve.  (3 weeks). 

Missions 104 - Class 104 is designed to help you understand what it means to be "missional".  In the 104 class, you will learn to use your story to introduce people to Jesus Christ; you will see how easy it is to touch people that only you can touch; and you'll get a picture of what God is doing locally, regionally and throughout the world to bring His people to Himself.  You'll discover the many opportunities there are for you to be part of His plan (3 weeks) 

Nursery is provided for children birth through 4 years of age.
